Porta Target was the first commercial manufacturer of steel target systems, now considered the standard in law enforcement and military firearms training.

Our primary focus is to provide the law enforcement / military training community with the best training equipment possible to achieve one goal: Save Lives.

Government studies conducted to develop safety criteria were based solely on our steel targets. While these results are frequently quoted by our competitors, they only apply to our targets.

Porta Target has the proven ability to customize target systems to meet the customer’s needs. Our customer base speaks for itself - small police departments to large urban departments to federal agencies and training facilities. At Porta Target, our bottom line isn’t about dollars and cents. Porta Target Inc. led the industry by becoming the first manufacturer of shooting range equipment to become ISO 9001:2000 registered. The ISO 9001:2000 registration process is recognized internationally because it is a rigorous, objective and independent review of a company’s operations.
